2 good wins despite poor weather conditions.

Ashdon produced their best cricket of the season so far to record their first wins for both the Saturday and Sunday teams.

On Saturday the league team got their first win on the board by over coming Much Hadham. 50's From Rob Pinnington (57), Jamie Millership (82) and Stuart Sutherland (63) gave Much Hadham a tough 256 to chase. But with some great bowling from Steve Salt (10 - 5 - 27) and Graham Ford (10 - 0 - 13). Victory was assured when the last man fell with Much Hadham on just 139.

Sunday proved equally as successful and coming up against a weakened Helions Bumpstead side Ashdon's batsmen enjoyed a good batting track 50's from Will Mallett (52 Ret.), Jamie Millership (52 Ret.) and Rob Pinnington (51 Ret.) proved too much for Helions. And under the guidance of the returning captain Mike Furze the bowlers cleaned up Helions for just 123 All Out.
